A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO ENTER INTO AN
AGPM74ENT WITH CONTEMPORARY PRODUCTIONS AND
THE CONCERT COMPANY, INC., TO SERVE AS AN
EXCLUSIVE PROMOTER OF PRODUCTIONS AT THE
JULIUS BRECKLING RIVERFRONT PARR
AMPHITHEATER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT AFTER APPROVAL BY
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Contemporary Productions in conjunction with The
Concert Company was selected as the most qualified group seeking
this position; and,
WHEREAS, it has been agreed that at a minimum Contemporary
Productions will produce an average of 12 shows per year each
year for a period of five years, that it will pay a $50,000
payment to the City at the beginning of each year of a contract,
that it will provide one dollar ($1.00) per ticketed entry to
any event to the City as an additional rental, and that it will
comply with other provisions of a contract required by-the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager, after approval by the Board of
Directors of a final draft contract approved as to form by the
City Attorney, is authorized to enter into an agreement with
Contemporary Productions of St. Louis, Missouri, and The Concert
Company, for a total contract period not to exceed five years,
including any renewals, to promote events at the Julius
Breckling Riverfront Park Amphitheater.
