RESOLUTION NO. 9,589 '
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO
VACATE AND CLOSE THAT PART OF EAST 9TH STREET BETWEEN BLOCK
3 AND BLOCK 6, CLINTON PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 20th day of December, 1995,
asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon that part of East
9th Street between Block 3 and Block 6, Clinton Park Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, being also described as follows:
That portion of East 9th Street described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 10, Block 3, Clinton
Park Addition to the City of Little Rock; thence South 890
46' 10" West 238.71 feet to a point being the Southwest
corner of Lot 6, Block 3, Clinton Park Addition to the City
of Little Rock; thence South 60 feet to a point being the
Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 6, Clinton Park Addition to
the City of Little Rock; thence North 890 46' 02" East along
the Northern boundary of Block 6, 238.65 feet to a point
being the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 6, Clinton Park
Addition; thence North 60' to the point of beginning. Also
being described as that portion of East 9th Street lying
between Block 3 and Block 6, Clinton Park Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 6:00 o'clock P.N.
on the 16th day of January, 1996.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of
such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week
for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little
Rock.
