2 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
3 QUESTION OF THE ISSUANCE OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS BY THE
4 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS RESIDENTIAL HOUSING AND PUBLIC
5 FACILITIES BOARD.

7 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas Residential Housing and Public Facilities
8 Board (the "Facilities Board ") proposes to issue not to exceed $800,000 Capital Improvement
9 Revenue Bonds in the near future to fund a loan to The Downtown Partnership, an Arkansas not-
10 for -profit corporation (the "Partnership "), certain proceeds of which will be contributed to the City
11
of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City "), for the purpose of paying a portion of the costs of capital
12
13 improvements to the Riverfront Park amphitheater located near the intersection of LaHarpe
14 Boulevard and East Markham Street in the City (the "Project "); and
15 WHEREAS, the Project is expected to be accomplished with other park improvements of the
16 City associated with the City's River District development adjacent to East Markham Street in the
17 City; and

19 WHEREAS, pursuant to law applicable to the issuance of Capital Improvement Revenue
20 Bonds by the Facilities Board, it is required that such issuance be approved by the Board of
21 Directors of the City of Little Rock, following a public hearing, as to which reasonable notice thereof
22 shall have been given by a publication of notice in a newspaper of general circulation within the City
23 of Little Rock, Arkansas:
24 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
25
26 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, THAT:
27 SECTION 1: A public hearing on the question of issuance of revenue bonds for the
28 purposes recited above by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas Residential Housing and Public
29
Facilities Board be held at the regular meeting of the Board of Directors to be held at
30
6:00 p.m., Little Rock City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock, Arkansas, on December 19,1995,
31
32 and that the City Clerk shall assure that notice thereof is published in the time and manner provided
33 by law.
34 SECTION 2. This resolution shall be effective from and after its passage and approval,
35
