A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH L.E.G., INC., TO INSTALL NEW
TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT MARA LYNN &
SHACKLEFORD ROAD AND UNIVERSITY &
EVERGREEN; AND TO INSTALS, SOLAR
POWERED SCHOOL FLASHERS AT BASELINE

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to L.E.G., Inc., the most qualified bidder
meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $166,123
($151,021.25 plus 10% contingency) for the installation of
traffic signals at Mara Lynn & Shackleford Road and University &
Evergreen; and to install solar powered school flashers at
Baseline Elementary, Martin Luther King Elementary and Terry
Elementary.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for these purposes in
account number 303 - 220 -0382 for the signals and 200 - 220 -0143 for
the school flashers.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
