HomeMy WebLinkAbout94701 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 RESOLUTION NO. 9,470 A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO UTILIZE FEDERAL AID MONIES FOR THE WIDENING OF FAIR PARK BOULEVARD FROM ASHER AVENUE TO 30TH STREET, AND THE RECONSTRUCTION OF WEST 32ND STREET FROM FAIR PARR BOULEVARD TO COLEMAN CREEK. WHEREAS, this project will relieve congestion on Fair Park Boulevard in the area of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock; and WHEREAS, Fair Park Boulevard will be widened to 4 and 5 lane arterial standards with sidewalks on both sides; and WHEREAS, the project will enhance traffic safety by correcting horizontal alignment problems and by signaling West 32nd Street and Fair Park; and WHEREAS, West 32nd Street will be widened to 361 wide collector standards with sidewalks on one side; and WHEREAS, the subject project has been approved for ISTEA Federal funding. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City will participate in accordance with its designated responsibilities in this project. SECTION 2. The estimated cost of this project is $825,000. The Federal cost is $600,000 and the City's match is $165,000. SECTION 3.
