A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH GENESIS ENVIRONMENTAL
CONSULTING (G.E.C.) FOR GROUNDWATER
MONITORING AND STORMWATER SAMPLING
SERVICES AT THE LITTLE ROCK
LANDFILL.
WHEREAS, provisions in the City's Landfill permit require
that a prescribed number of groundwater samples and stormwater
samples be taken annually and that the statistical analysis and
reporting be completed in accordance with State and Federal
guidelines; and
WHEREAS, specifications were prepared in accordance with
requirements of the City's permit; and
WHEREAS, Genesis Environmental Consulting was the only
bidder complying with all requirements outlined in the bid
documents. !
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Genesis Environmental Consulting, the most
qualified bidder meeting specifications, in the amount of
$53,750 for a five (5) year contract period to provide
groundwater monitoring and stormwater sampling services at the
Little Rock Landfill.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 603 -220- 2120 -6081.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

Research and Woodward -Clyde were disqualified as non - responsive as they failed
to provide confirmation of any experience in Class I landfill monitoring.
