RESOLUTION NO. 9,450
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN ENGINEERING
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH GRIMES
CONSULTING ENGINEERS FOR
RECONSTRUCTION OF VALLEY DRIVE FROM
CHICOT ROAD TO WARREN ROAD, A 1988
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT LOCAL STREET
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this project will reconstruct the streets to
27 -foot wide streets with curbs and gutters, underground storm
sewers and sidewalks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an
engineering services contract with Grimes Consulting Engineers,
the most qualified bidder meeting specifications, in an amount
not to exceed $32,906.50 ($29,915 contract fee plus 10%
contingency), for reconstruction of Valley Drive from Chicot
Road to Warren Road, 1988 Capital Improvement Local Street
Project.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 301-220 -0061.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
