2 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR
3 THE PURCHASE OF AGGREGATE, SAND AND STONE
4 FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
7 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
8 and award a contract Jeffrey Sand, the low bidder meeting
9 specifications, in an amount not to exceed $4.05 per ton for the
10 purchase of Sand, fine for the Public Works Department.
11 SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
12 and award a contract to Granite Mountain Quarries, the low
bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $7.53
13 per ton, for the purchase of Stone Chips Class 1 for the Public
14 Works Department.
15 SECTION 3. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
16 and award a contract to Granite Mountain Quarries, the low
bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $7.59
17 per ton, for the purchase of Stone Chips Class 2 for the Public
18 Works Department.
19 SECTION 4. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
20 and award a contract to Granite Mountain Quarries, the low
21 bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $5.36
per ton, for the purchase of Asphalt Aggregate 1/2" for the
22 Public Works Department.
23 SECTION 5. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
24 and award a contract to Granite Mountain Quarries, the low
25 bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $4.40
per ton, for the purchase of Sand, Industrial for the Public
26 Works Department.
27 SECTION 6. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
28 and award a contract to Mid State Construction, the low bidder
29 meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $3.70 per ton
30 for the purchase of Base Aggregate for Public Works Department.
SECTION 7. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
31 and award a contract to Granite Mountain Quarries, the low
32 bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $4.64
33 per ton, for the purchase of Road Ballast for the Public Works
34 Department.
35 SECTION 8. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
36 and award a contract to Granite Mountain Quarries, the low

per ton, for the purchase of Class "B" Stone for the Public
Works Department.
SECTION 9. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Mid State Construction, the low bidder
meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $5.30 per
ton, for the purchase of Concrete Aggregate for the Public Works
Department.
SECTION 10. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Granite Mountain Quarries, the low
bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $5.81
per ton, for the purchase of Rip - Rap #1 for the Public Works
Department.
SECTION 11. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Arkansas Granite, the low bidder meeting
specifications, in an amount not to exceed $1.40 per ton, for
the purchase of Donna Fill for the Public Works Department.
SECTION 12. Funds are available for these purchases in
account number 200 - 220 - 2210 -3020.
SECTION 13. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
