RESOLUTION NO. 9,423
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH TRI -STAR CONSTRUCTION, INC.,
FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF GEORGIA
STREET FROM OHIO TO NLP STREETS, A
1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this project will reconstruct Georgia Street from
Ohio to "L" Street to a 27 -foot wide street with curb and
gutter, underground storm sewer and sidewalks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Tri -Star Construction, Inc., the low bidder
meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $357,779.41
($325,254.01 contract fee, plus 10% contingency), for
reconstruction of Georgia Street from Ohio to "L" Streets, a
1988 Capital Improvement Bond Project.
SECTION 2. Funds are available from the 1988 Capital
Improvement Bond Fund.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
