RESOLUTION NO. 9,406
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
EXTENSION WITH CNA TO PROVIDE
REINSURANCE FOR THE CITY'S
SELF - INSURED WORKERS' COMPENSATION
PROGRAM FOR A TWELVE (12) MONTH
PERIOD EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1995.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has operated a self- funded
Workers' Compensation program since 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City purchases reinsurance coverage for the
Workers' Compensation program to ensure that expenses for
specific Workers' Compensation incidents are limited.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract extension with CNA to provide reinsurance for
the City's self- insured Workers' Compensation program for a
twelve (12) month period effective July 1, 1995.
