RESOLUTION NO. 9,390
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR ROOF REPAIRS FOR
OTTENHEIMER RECREATION CENTER.
WHEREAS, in 1965 Gus and Leonard Ottenheimer donated 12
acres of land in the southwestern part of Little Rock for the
development of a neighborhood park; and
WHEREAS, an existing log farmhouse on the site was
remodeled into a Community Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, currently, the recreation center's activity room
is closed due to safety concerns until the roof is repaired;
and
WHEREAS, this multipurpose room is used by many Cloverdale
residents for public meetings, senior activities and private
rentals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
remodeling contract with Nathaniel Saine Construction, Inc., in
the amount of $23,800 for roofing renovations to Ottenheimer
Community Center.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available from the
1995 Capital Improvement Bond Fund Neighborhoods Parks
Improvements Special Project.
