6 CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR COM24UNITY
7 DEVELOPNEt7T AND HOUSING WITH A ONE
8 (1) YEAR ACTION PLAN FOR SUBMISSION
9 TO THE U-S. DEPART24ENT OF HOUSING
10 AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD).

12 WHEREAS, beginning with its FY 1995 appropriations, HUD's
13 Community Planning and Development Division requires a
14 NConsolidated Plan" to take the place of separate applications
15 for CDBG, HOME, ESG and any other formula from the Division for
16 which the City may become eligible; and
17 WHEREAS, the City Manager and staff are to prepare and
18 publish for public comment a five -year Consolidated Plan for
19 community development and housing, with a one year action plan
20 incorporating the activities and allocations per Exhibit "A °,
21 for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
22 Development (HUD), in order to qualify the City of Little Rock
23 to receive FY 1995 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG),
24 HOME Investment Partnerships Act (HOME), and Emergency Shelter
25 Grant formula entitlements.
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
27 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
28 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to prepare and
29 publish for public comment a five (5) year Consolidated Plan for
30 community development and housing, with a one (1) year action
31 plan incorporating the activities and allocations per Exhibit
32 ^'A°', for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
33 Development (HUD).
34 SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
35 effect from and after its adoption.
