A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A LEASE
AGRESNSNT WITH SUPERIOR FORWARDING
TRUCKING CORPORATION FOR A DOWNTOWN
MAINTENANCE FACILITY FOR THE FLEET
SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, downtown area customers of Fleet Services are
required to transport their units from their assigned district
to the Southwest Little Rock Regional Maintenance Facility for
repairs; and
WHEREAS, implementation of this regional facility will
realize an annual savings of $12,583 over the current operating
method.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
lease agreement with Superior Forwarding Trucking Corporation in
the amount of $15,156 per year for a three (3) year period for a
downtown maintenance facility for the Fleet Services Department.
SECTION 2. Funding for this purpose is available in account
number 6040 -6041 (6080).
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
