A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF WEST
28TH STREET EXTENDING ONE -HALF BLOCK WEST OF LEWIS
STREET, BETWEEN BLOCK 3, OAK GROVE SQUARE ADDITION
AND BLOCK 1, RIFFEL AND HOLDERS ADDITION IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 19th
day of December, 1994, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon a portion of West 28th Street extending
one -half flock west of Lewis Street and abutting Lot 6,
Block 3, Oak Grove Square Addition and Lots 5, 6 and the
east 37.5 feet, more or less, of Lot 7, Block 1, Riffel and
Holders Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
designated on the plat of said Additions now appearing of
record in Plat Book 1, Page 23, and Plat Book 2, Page 139,
in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
subject, however, to an easement for public utilities and
drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 17th day of January , 1g 95.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
