A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACTS FOR
RELOCATING EXISTING WARNING SIRENS AND
FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF
OUTDOOR WARNING SIRENS FOR THE DEPARTMENT
OF GENERAL SERVICES OFFICE OF E14ERGENCY
SERVICES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Harris Enterprises of Little Rock,
Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount
not to exceed $31,500 for relocating warning sirens for the
General Services Department Office of Emergency Services.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 210 -214- 0322 - 8015(04).
SECTION 3. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to American Signal Corp. of Megnon,
Wisconsin, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount
not to exceed $106,896 for the installation of outdoor warning
sirens for the General Services Department Office of Emergency
Services.
SECTION 4. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 210 - 214 - 0322 - 8015(04).
SECTION 5. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
