RESOLUTION NO. 9.242
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING REGARDING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LANDS.
WHEREAS,'the Arkansas General Assembly has given
municipalities the power to annex areas that are completely
surrounded by said municipalities under Act 314 of 1979; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be conducted within
sixty (60) days of the proposal of the ordinance calling for
annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION I. That the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock shall hold a public hearing on
October 18, 1994, regarding the proposed annexation of the
following property. The attached exhibit is a map of such
property and is a part of this Resolution.

21, and 22, T -1 -N, R -12 -W: thence West along the
North line of said Section 21 to the NW corner of
the East 1/2, NE 1/4, said Section 21; thence
South along the East line of said East 1/2, NE 1/4
to the SE corner thereof; thence West along the
South line of the North 1/2, said Section 21 to
the NE corner of the North 1/2, South 1/2, said
Section 20; thence South along the East line of
said North 1/2, South 1/2, to the SE corner
thereof; thence West along the South line of said
North 1/2, South 1/2 to the SW corner thereof,
which point is also on the East line of Section
19, T -1 -N, R -12 -W; thence North along the said
East line of Section 19 to the East -West
centerline of said Section 19; thence West along
said centerline to the center of Section 19;

continue in a Northerly direction along said East
right -of -way line to a point which is 675.3 feet,
more or less, South of the North line of the SW
1/4, SE 1/4 of Section 18, T -1 -N, R -12 -W; thence
departing from said East right -of -way line

162.69 feet, more or less, to the SW corner of the
NE 1/4, SE 1/4, Section 18; thence North along the
West line of said NE 1/4, SE 1/4 to a point on the
North line of Fourche Creek; thence Northeasterly
along the Northerly line of said Fourche Creek to
a point on the East line of said NE 1/4, SE 1/4,
Section 18; thence North along the East line of
said NE 1/4, SE 1/4 to the NE corner thereof;
thence East along the East -West centerlines of
Sections 17 and 16 to the NE corner of the NW 1/4,
SW 1/4, said Section 16; thence South along the
East line of said NW 1/4, SW 1/4 to the SE corner
thereof; thence East along the North line of the
SE 1/4 SW 1/4, said Section 16 to the NE corner
thereof; thence South along the East line of said
SE 1/4, SW 1/4 to the NW corner of the South 1/2,

SECTION II. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
