RESOLUTION NO. 9,147
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR
THE PURCHASE OF A DOZER FOR THE STREET
DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTXENT.
WHEREAS, the City has submitted competitive bids to provide
a dozer for the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder in this competitive bidding process
has been recommended to receive this award.
WHEREAS, this dozer will be used for major ditch
maintenance at Rock Creek, Grassy Flat Creek, etc., and for major
slope grading and debris removal; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with J. A. Riggs of Little Rock, Arkansas, in the amount
of $110,370.00 to provide a dozer for the Department of Public
Works.
