RESOLUTION NO. 9,146
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
NOVELL COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR JTPA.
WHEREAS, federal regulations require that a systematic data
storage and retrieval system be used by all JTPA programs; and
WHEREAS, the JTPA department needs a computer system that
will provide database network capabilities; and
WHEREAS, funding will be provided by the United States
Department of Labor; and
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Private Industry Council has
approved use of these funds for the purchase of this equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Cad -Scan of Sherwood, Arkansas, in an
amount not to exceed $33,990.55, to provide a Novell Computer
System for the JTPA department.
