RESOLUTION NO. 9,107
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR
FITNESS EQUIPMENT AT THE SOUTHWEST LITTLE
ROCK COMMUNITY COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, the Southwest Little Rock Community
Complex building is complete and ready for interior
furnishings and other equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept bids and award a contract to Cybex in an amount not
to exceed $34,346.50 for fitness equipment at the Southwest
Little Rock Complex.
SECTION 2: Funding for this project is available in
Account Number 301 - 230 -0051.

RECOMMENDATION AND DISCUSSION: It is recommended that the award be given to
the low bidder meeting specifications for all items. Body Line was the lowest
bidder on items 4 (Multi Hip), however, they failed to bid the proper weight
stack. Their bid with the required weight stack (250 4) was higher.
