RESOLUTION NO. 9,101
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACTS FOR
POLICE PATROL SEDANS AND UNMARKED SEDANS
FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FLEET SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City has submitted competitive bids to
provide a contract for 28 police patrol sedans and 9 unmarked
sedans; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 8,557 (August 20, 1991) authorizes
the City Manager in the name of the City of Little Rock to
participate in state purchasing contracts and to be bound by all
contract terms and conditions as the Department of Finance and
Administration , Office of State Purchasing prescribes; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder under the Arkansas State contract
has been recommended to receive this award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Bale Chevrolet of Little Rock, Arkansas, through
the State's Cooperative Purchasing Program, to provide 28 police
patrol sedans and 9 unmarked sedans in an amount not to exceed
$13,602.32 each for police patrol sedans and $13,784.66 each for
unmarked sedans for the Department of Fleet Services.

and by previous resolutions approved by the Board of Directors. Bids were
taken to verify that the State contract would be lower than our bid.
