3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
4 INSTALLATION OF VARIOUS SIZES OF
5 WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS TO EXPAND,
6 UPGRADE, AND REINFORCE WATER SERVICE

WITHIN WATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

9 NO. 99, LOCATED OUTSIDE THE CITY
10 LIMITS OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.

12 WHEREAS, Water Improvement District No. 99 was formed in
13 about 1960 and serves an area approximately 6.4 miles long .75
14 miles wide, the northern 40% of which lies within the City of
15
16 Little Rock's extraterritorial jurisdiction, the center 20% lies
17 in Pulaski County, and the southern 40$ lies within the city
is limits of Wrightsville; and
19 WHEREAS, Improvement District No. 99 has requested that
20 Little Rock water be extended to expand, upgrade, and reinforce
21 water service in Improvement District No. 99; and

WHEREAS, all water connections approved pursuant to this
23
24 resolution shall become customers of the City of Little Rock Water
25 Works; and
26 WHEREAS, individual- water tie -ons shall require the
27 execution of pre- annexation agreements, except for individual
28 tie -ons located within city limits of Wrightsville.

30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
31 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
32 SECTION 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors hereby
33 authorizes the installation of approximately 38,000 feet of water,
34 pipe of various sizes, including fire hydrants, to serve the
35 customers currently served by Water Improvement District No. 99.

SECTION 2. All customers receiving individual water
tie -ons, except for those located within the city limits of
Wrightsville, shall execute a pre- annexation agreement with the
City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. The extension authorized by this resolution has
been reviewed and found to be consistent with the City's policy
for the extraterritorial extension of utilities set forth in
Little Rock Ark., Resolution 7,893 (February 2, 1988.)
