A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF THE
ALLEY IN BLOCK 1 OF HARRINGTON'S SUBURBAN VILLAGE,
AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AND TO ABANDON THE UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED
WITHIN THAT PORTION OF ALLEY RIGHT -OF -WAY.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 10th
day of January, 1994, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon a portion of the alley and utility
easements abutting the east 20 feet of Lot 7 and all of Lots
8, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 15, in Block 1 of Harrington's
Suburban Village, an Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Addition now
appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 112, in the the
Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject,
however, to any public utility easements located in said
streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 1F4-h day of Eehrnary 1 1994 -
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
