3 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
4 INSTALLATION OF THREE WATER MAIN
5 EXTENSIONS TO SERVE SEVEN TRACTS OF

LAND (FIVE OF WHICH LIE WITHIN

8 HENDERSON ROAD WATER IMPROVEMENT
9 DISTRICT NO. 341 AND TWO OUTSIDE THE
10 DISTRICT) LOCATED IN pULASKI COUNTY
11 AND OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS OF LITTLE
12 ROCK, ARKANSAS.

15 WHEREAS, the area to be serviced lies within the City's
16 extraterritorial jurisdiction; and
17 WHEREAS, the Henderson Road area lies within Water
18 Improvement District No. 341; and
19 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Water Works is financially
20 participating in the proposed extension because the 12 -inch
21 diameter main is part of the Little Rock Water Works' master plan
22
23 which ultimately will be extended south to Baseline Road; and
24 WHEREAS, all seven property owners have executed
25 pre- annexation agreements.
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
27 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
28 SECTION 1: The Little Rock Board of Directors hereby
29
30 authorizes the installation of three water main extensions (1,840
31 of 12 -inch main; 180 feet of 8 -inch; and 325 of 3 -inch, to serve
32 seven tracts of land, five of which lie within Henderson Water
33 Improvement District No. 341 and two outside the district.
34 1 SECTION 2. These extensions have been reviewed and found to
35
be consistent with the City's policy for the extraterritorial
36
