A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
ISSUANCE OF NOT TO EXCEED $17,000,000 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK LIBRARY
CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 1994.
WHEREAS, at a special election held July 27, 1993 voters of the City of Little Rock
approved the issuance of up to $17,000,000 in library construction and improvement bonds to be
payable from an ad valorem property tax levied at the rate of two mills per dollar of assessed
valuation of real and personal property within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas appointed co -bond
counsel for the issue in Resolution No. 9,025; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas appointed
underwriters for the issue in Resolution No. 9,067 and authorized the preparation of documentation
and such other steps as are necessary to accomplish the sale of the bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: A public hearing is hereby set for February 15, 1994 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board
of Directors' Room, Second Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas
72201 on the question of the issuance of not to exceed $17,000,000 of City of Little Rock Library
Construction and Improvement Bonds, Series 1994.
SECTION 2: Publication of a Notice of Public Hearing is hereby ratified and confirmed.
