RESOLUTION NO. 9,079
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
CIVIL DESIGN, INC. FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES TO DESIGN EVERGREEN STREET,
FLORIDA TO GARFIELD, A 1988 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Little Rock Ordinance 15,473 appropriated
$19,675,000 for street and drainage improvements; and
WHEREAS, this is another street improvement project being
constructed under the Neighborhood Streets category of the 1988
Bond Funds; and
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposal was issued for a contract
to provide engineering services to design the Evergreen project;
and
WHEREAS, the Selection Committee appointed to review
qualifications and establish reasonable fee guidelines has
selected Civil Design, Inc. of the eighteen firms responding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 2 -243 of the Little Rock
Code of Ordinances, the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with_Civil Design, Inc. of Little Rock, in an
amount not to exceed $34,100 for engineering services to design
Evergreen Street, Florida to Garfield, a 1988 Capital Improvement
Bond Project.
