A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CERTIFYING LOCAL
7
GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF R &G SLOANE
8
MANUFACTURING COMPANY, INCORPORATED TO
9
PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE
ZONE PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has an approved zone
12
designation for Census Tract 40.03, Block Group 9 within the
13
corporate limits of the City of Little Rock; and
14
MEAS, the local government has previously endorsed a
business or enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise
15
Zone Program pursuant to the 1983 Act, Little Rock, Ark., Res.
16
No. 8,790 (October 6, 1992); and
17
WHEREAS, the local government may endorse a business or
18
enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
Program and benefit from the exemptions as provided in the
19
Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993; and
20
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific forms
21
available from AIDC; and
22
WHEREAS, R &G Sloane manufacturing Company, Incorporated,
23
located at 7777 Sloane Drive, has been determined by the
management of the Enterprise Zone as an appropriate applicant,
24
and for this new designation; and
25
WHEREAS, R &G Sloane Manufacturing Company, Incorporated,
26
has agreed to furnish to management of the Enterprise Zone all
27
necessary information for compliance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. R &G Sloane Manufacturing Company, Incorporated,
30
shall be endorsed by the City of Little Rock for benefit from
31
the refunds and tax credits as provided in the Arkansas
32
Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993, through June 30,
33
1999.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the required
34
Certificate of Local Government Endorsement.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its adoption and approval.
