RESOLUTION NO. 9,065
a) WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors understands
Federal -Aid Surface Transportation Enhancement funds are available
at 80% Federal participation and 20% local cash match for a
pedestrian and bicycle bridge at the confluence of Jimerson Creek
and the Arkansas River.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City' of Little Rock will participate in
accordance with its designated responsibility, including
maintenance of this project.
Section 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts
necessary to expedite the construction of the above stated
improvement.
Section 3: The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas
State Highway and Transportation Department to initiate action to
implement this project.
