A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD
CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO
TRAILER MOUNTED BRUSH CHIPPERS AND TWO
2 -TON TRUCKS WITH CHIP COLLECTOR FOR
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
WHEREAS, the City has submitted competitive bids to provide
a contract for two trailer mounted brush chippers and two 2 -ton
trucks with chip collector; and
WHEREAS, the low bidders in these competitive bidding
processes have been recommended to receive this award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Vermeer Sales & Service of Russellville, Arkansas,
in an amount not to exceed $32,600 to provide two trailer mounted
brush chippers for the Department of Public Works.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Robinson International of Little Rock, Arkansas, in
an amount not to exceed $89,468 to provide two 2 -ton trucks with
chip collector for the Department of Public Works.
