A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE 575
REINSTATEMENT OF COMMIISSIONER
RONALD B. WOODS TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Ronald B. Woods was appointed to the Planning
Commission January 7, 1992, said term expiring November 1, 1994;
and
WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark. Ordinance 14,492 (August 2,
1983) provides that when a member of a board or commission has
missed more than 25% of all regular meetings in one calendar year
or more than 3 consecutive regularly scheduled meetings, then such
person is automatically removed from such position unless, prior
to the next scheduled meeting of the City Board of Directors, the
member submits in writing his desire to remain on the Board of
Commission; and
WHEREAS, there were a total of 24 meetings scheduled in
1993 and Mr. Woods missed 7 of the 22 meetings held; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Woods has submitted his request in writing to
be reinstated to the Commission, prior to the next meeting of the
Board of Directors.
WHEREAS, the Board finds that Mr. Woods should be
reinstated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Commissioner Ronald B. Woods hereby reinstated
to the Planning Commission to fill out the remainder of his term.
