RESOLUTION NO. 9.054
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE 562
DEDICATION OF 147 ACRES OF LAND ON
STAGECOACH ROAD FOR PUBLIC PARR
PURPOSES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Stagecoach Road Joint Venture (Grantor) is an
Arkansas partnership which is the owner of approximately 147
acres on Stagecoach Road, it wishes to dedicate to the City of
Little Rock for public park purposes; and
WHEREAS, the land has been evaluated by City staff and
deemed to be appropriate and desirable for park purposes,
specifically soccer, softball and other active park uses; and
WHEREAS, said land is subject to annual special improvement
district taxes in the amount of $.5,691, assessed by the
Mabelvale- Alexander Sewer Improvement District No. 142; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is exempt from payment of
improvement district taxes unless it specifically agrees to pay
such taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECl'ORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager and the City Attorney are
authorized to execute whatever documents necessary to effectuate
the dedication of land of the Stagecoach Road Joint Venture for
public park purposes.
