RESOLUTION NO. 9,050
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
CONVEYING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to a
foreclosure decree, is the owner of 2011 Rock Street, legally
described as the South 50 feet of Lots 1 and 2, Block 405,
Duvall's Addition to the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, a former heir to the property has offered to
purchase said land for the total expenses incurred by the City
which amounts to $879.75; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Grantee of the lot has agreed to keep
and maintain the premises free and clear of high grass, weeds
and rubbish; and
WHEREAS, said land is not needed by the City of Little Rock
for any of its projects and the sale will return the lot to the
tax rolls of the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a quitclaim deed conveying title to the following
lands for the sum of $879.75:
The South 50 feet of Lots 1 and 2, Block 405,
Duvall's Addition to the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.

QUITCLAIM DEED 553
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, an Arkansas
Municipal Corporation, duly authorized by lawful resolution of
its Board of Directors, GRANTOR, for and in consideration of the
sum of Eight Hundred Seventy -Nine Dollars and Seventy -Five Cents
($879.75) and other valuable consideration, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, convey and quitclaim
unto Stanley Cannon, called GRANTEE, and unto his heirs and
assigns forever, all of Grantor's title, interest and claim into
the following lands in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
The South 50 feet of Lots 1 and 2, Block 405,
Duvall's Addition to the City of Little Rock.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto GRANTEE, and to his heirs
and assigns forever, with all appurtenances thereunto belonging.
