RESOLUTION NO. 9,032
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
L.E.G. ENTERPRISES, INC. TO INSTALL A
TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF
MARA LYNN ROAD AND BOWMAN ROAD; AND
TO INSTALL SOLAR POWERED SCHOOL
FLASHERS AT GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER
ELEMENTARY, ROCKEFELLER MAGNET
ELEMENTARY AND PULASKI ACADEMY.
WHEREAS, the City has submitted competitive bids to provide
the installation of a traffic signal and the installation of solar
powered school flashers; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder in this competitive bidding process
has been recommended to receive this award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to L.E.G. Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of
$79,135.75, to install a traffic signal at the intersection of
Mara Lynn Road and Bowman Road and to install solar powered school
flashers at George Washington Carver Elementary, Rockefeller
Magnet Elementary and Pulaski Academy.
