M M 513 WHEREAS, the City purchased four railroad flat cars to construct a bridge over Jimerson Creek as a part of the Rebsamen Park Road Bond Project; and WHEREAS, voters rejected building this structure and these cars are now surplus since there is no other location in the City where they can be utilized; and WHEREAS, the City has submitted competitive bids to offer these cars "as is ", "where is ", with the successful bidder providing all of the means of removing the cars from City property; and WHEREAS, Pulaski County's bid is the highest bid that meets all of the requirements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract to sell four railroad flat cars to Pulaski County for the sum of $14,000. SECTION 2: The difference betwen the amount the City paid for the railroad cars and the amount of the successful bid is $5,200. This amount shall be transferred from another street project account and deposited into the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Fund account.
