A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS
COMMISSION REGULATIONS WHICH ALLOW LOCAL
REGULATION OF BASIC CABLE TELEVISION RATES.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock ( "City ") was certified by
the Federal Communications Commission ( "FCC ") to regulate basic
cable television service rates effective October 30, 1993, and;
WHEREAS, the FCC requires Cities to adopt standards for
regulation of cable television rates that are equal to or
greater than those recently promulgated by the FCC, and;
WHEREAS, the City hereby adopts the FCC rules and
regulations which regulate basic cable television rates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City hereby adopts FCC regulations with
respect to basic cable service, which the FCC adopted pursuant
to 47 U.S.C. S 543 (b).
