WHEREAS, the Affordable Homes Program builds new homes on
vacant lots in established subdivisions utilizing a revolving
construction fund established by the Board of Directors by
Resolution No. 7,505 (November 19, 1985); and
WHEREAS, the homes are sold at cost to low- income or
moderate - income families.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Phillips Construction Company, in an
amount not to exceed $44,500.00, for construction of an
affordable home on a city -owned lot at 620 East 17th Street.
