RESOLUTION NO. 9,012
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF EMERGENCY WARNING DEVICES; TO
AWARD A CONTRACT FOR TRACTORS AND MOWERS, FOR
THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES /FLEET
SERVICES DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City has submitted competitive bids to provide
a contract for emergency warning devices and tractors and mowers
for the Department of General Services /Fleet Services Division;
and
WHEREAS, the low bidder in these competitive bidding
processes have been recommended to receive this award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Harris Enterprises of Little Rock, Arkansas, to
provide emergency warning devices for the Department of General
Services /Fleet Services Division, subject to a one year renewal as
per the terms of the bid and with the City Manager's approval.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Capital Ford New Holland of North Little Rock,
Arkansas, in an amount not to exceed $75,876.60, to provide
tractors and mowers for the Department of General Services /Fleet
Services Division.
