RESOLUTION NO. 9,011
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION
NO. 8,991 TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO CONVEY THE
PROPERTY AT 609 EAST 17TH STREET TO
WORTHEN NATIONAL BANK BY WARRANTY
DEED INSTEAD OF A QUITCLAIM DEED.
WHEREAS, Resolution 8,991 (September 7, 1993) was adopted
by the Board to convey a vacant lot at 609 East 17th Street to
Worthen Bank for $3,700.00; and
WHEREAS, the resolution authorized the Mayor and City Clerk
to execute a "quitclaim deed" to convey the City's interest in the
property; and
WHEREAS, the contract for sale of the property to Worthen
Bank calls for the City to provide a warranty deed in order for
Worthen to construct an affordable new home in this model block.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Resolution 8,991 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
to execute a warranty deed to convey the
City's interest in property located at
609 East 17th Street to Worthen National
Bank for $3,700.00
