A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A
CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF CITY LAND
TO THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
COMMISSION FOR PLACEMENT OF AN OUTER
MARKER DEVICE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission
("Airport") is in the process of constructing an instrument
landing system for Runway 4R at Adams Field; and
WHEREAS, a small parcel of land belonging to the City,
located near the intersection of Ironton Cutoff Road and Arch
Street Pike, has been identified by the Airport as an ideal site
for the outer marker; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Federal Aviation Administration
'guidelines, the Airport should own the site and lease it to the
FAA in order to construct and maintain the outer marker; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the conveyance to the
Airport for the stated purpose, with a reversion to the City if
the land ever ceases to be used for an outer marker site, does
not conflict with any planned City uses of the site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to
execute a deed to the Airport for the construction .and
maintenance of an outer marker device in conjunction with an
instrument landing system at Adams Field.

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
The City of Little Rock, an Arkansas Municipal Corporation,
GRANTOR, by its Mayor, duly authorized by Resolution No.
, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten
Dollars ($10) and other valuable consideration, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, sell
and convey and donate unto the City of Little Rock for the use
and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission,
called GRANTEE, and unto its successors and assigns forever, all
of Grantors title, interest and claim unto the following lands
in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
A tract of land being part of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of Section 9, T -1 -S, R -12 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas
and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection point of the north line
of the above said Section 9, and the centerline of
Arkansas Highway No. 367; thence S 3007136" W, along
the centerline of Arkansas Highway No. 367, 450.00
feet; thence S 89005103" E, 398.20 feet to the point
of beginning; thence continue S 89 005103" E, 75.00
feet to the westerly right -of -way line of Ironton
Road; thence S 46 059103" E along the westerly
right -of -way line of Ironton Road, 52.21 feet; thence
N 89 °05103" W, 113.74 feet; thence N 0054157" E,
35.00 feet to the point of beginning and containing
3303 sq. ft. more or less.
Grantor hereby retains a 15' easement along Ironton Cutoff
Road on the East side of the described tract for the purpose of
the installation and maintenance of a sanitary sewer line.
This conveyance is subject to the condition that if the
above described land ever ceases to be used for the purpose of
the use and maintenance of an outer marker device for the
instrument landing system at Adams Field, then the title shall
automatically revert to the Grantor, its successors and assigns.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto Grantee, and to its
successors and assigns forever, on condition that the lands

herein conveyed be used by the Grantee exclusively for an
airport outer marker site. Neither the Grantee nor its
successors or assigns shall sell, lease or otherwise alienate
all or any part of the land for any use or purpose, except for
an airport outer marker site. The conditions set forth herein
are covenants running with the land.
The Grantor hereby covenants with the said Grantee that the
Grantor will warrant and defend the title to the said land
against all claims and encumbrances arising through or under the
Grantor, but none other. This deed is made without any warranty,
either express or implied, as to the fitness of the lands for
any specific purpose or use.
