RESOLUTION NO. 8,976 337
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR THE RODNEY PARHAM
WIDENING PROJECT, A PART OF THE
SYSTEMATICS, INC. EXPANSION.
WHEREAS, as part of the Systematics, Inc. expansion, the
City agreed to widen Rodney Parham Road from four to six lanes
and;
WHEREAS, these improvements are being done to accommodate
the increase in traffic caused by the addition of some 500 jobs
created by the Systematics expansion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Hogan Construction Company, in an amount
not to exceed $285,154.13 for the widening of Rodney Parham Road
from Woodland Heights Road to Cantrell Road.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project are available in
account number 212- 220 -0290.
