A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
LAMBERT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
TRENCHING AND CONDUIT INSTALLATION FOR
STREET LIGHTS IN FRONT OF THE MACARTHUR
PARR AREA.

WHEREAS, approximately forty decorative street lights were
installed in the Quapaw Quarter area through a contract with
Township Builders over a year and a half ago; and
WHEREAS, not included in that contract was the removal of
AP &L primary service along 9th Street form Commerce to McAlmont;
and
WHEREAS, the trenching involved in this project is of such
magnitude that a utility contractor is needed to complete the
trenching for installation of the AP &L underground facilities.
NOW„ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Lambert Construction Company in the amount
of $34,480.24 for trenching and conduit installation for street
lights in front of the MacArthur Park area.
