RESOLUTION NO. 8,937
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING
COMMISSION'S ACTION IN DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT FOR A RESTAURANT TO BE LOCATED AT 5510
KAVANAUGH BOULEVARD (Z- 5383 -C).
WHEREAS, an application was filed with the Little Rock
Planning Commission for a conditional use permit to allow
the use of the C -1 zoned structure and property located at
5510 Kavanaugh Boulevard as a restaurant; and
WHEREAS, the application failed to receive the required
six (6) votes at either the March 9, 1993 or the March 23,
1993 Planning Commission meetings and thus was declared to
be denied; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has
determined that action to be incorrect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning
Commission in denying an application for a conditional use
permit to allow the use of the C -1 zoned structure and
property located at 5510 Kavanaugh Boulevard as a restaurant
is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2. Said conditional use permit application is
hereby approved, provided signage is placed in the front and
rear of the property stating that parking is not permitted
in the parking lot serving Harvest Foods on the date of this
Resolution, and to develop as many on -site parking spaces as
practical that meet the Code.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
