RESOLUTION NO. 8,924
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
WHEREAS, this equipment will be used to identify, collect
and input storm water collection data using the PAGIS system for
use in the Pollution Study mandated by the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Pollution, Control &
Ecology (PC &A); and
WHEREAS, the computers will be used to further develop City
application using GIS, such as economic development, crime
analysis, future planning issues and sanitation studies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Arkansas Computer Systems, in an amount
not to exceed $66,373.30 for the purchase of computer equipment
for the Department of Public Works.
