A. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A
CITY -OWNED VACANT LOT AT 2501 WEST 12TH
STREET.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock foreclosed its lien for
cutting grass and cleaning a vacant lot at 2501 West 12th Street;
and
WHEREAS, the City has no present or projected future need
for this lot and the costs to maintain the lot does not justify
the City holding the lot in its inventory of real property; and
WHEREAS, the City advertised the vacant lot for bid on
November 2, 1992 through November 16, 1992; and
WHEREAS, Windell Gray, the owner of the adjacent lot
located at 2505 West 12th Street, placed a bid on the property for
the sum of $500.00; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to transfer
ownership of the lot and the responsibility to maintain the
premises to Windell Gray for the sum of $500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a quitclaim deed of property located at 2501 West 12th
Street to Windell Gray, in return for the payment of $500.00 by
Mr. Gray to the City of Little Rock.
