RESOLUTION NO. 8,90E
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACTS FOR A
TRIPLE COMBINATION FIRE PUMPER TRUCK AND
A TRIPLE DRIVE AXLE TRACTOR FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES /FLEET
SERVICES DIVISION; AND THE 1993
RESURFACING PROGRAM FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
PUBLIC WORKS.
NOW, THLREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept
bids and award contracts for the purchase of the following:
A. to 3D Manufacturing, in an amount not to exceed
$198,300, a contract for the purchase of a triple
combination fire pumper for the Department of General
Services /Fleet Services Division.
B. to Walt Bennett Ford, in an amount not to exceed
$75,861, a contract to purchase a triple drive axle
tractor for the Department of General Services/ Fleet
Services Division.
C. to Cranford Construction, in an amount not to
exceed $515,424.09, a contract for the 1993 Street
Resurfacing Project, for the Public Works Department.
The City Manager is further authorized to approve
change orders requested by the City Engineer that are
deemed necessary throughout the contract period as
per the bid specifications.
