A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VARIOUS PROJECTS
AND ALLOCATIONS OF FUNDS AS PROVIDED FOR IN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK'S COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM FOR
THE 19TH YEAR (FY 1993); ALLOCATING $62,000
FOR ACQUISITION OF PINE HILL HOMES
SUBDIVISION AND AMENDING THE 18TH YEAR (FY
1992) CDBG FINAL STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES AND PROJECTED USE OF
FUNDS; APPROVING STREET AND DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS CONTINGENT UPON A
SUPPLEMENTAL CDBG GRANT; APPROVING THE
EXPANSION BOUNDARIES OF THE WOODRUFF SCHOOL
CDBG AREA TO INCLUDE ALL OF CENSUS TRACT 14;
AND APPROVING THE CDBG APPLICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE APPLICATIONS
FOR SUCH FUNDS.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The various projects and allocations of the
funds provided to the City under the Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) Program for fiscal year 1993, as set forth in the
attached program proposal (Exhibit A) and application for such
funds are hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The various street and drainage improvement
projects and allocations of the funds provided from a supplemental
CDBG grant, should it become available, as set forth in the
attached (Exhibit B) and application to HUD for such funds are
hereby approved.

SECTION 3. The allocation of $62,000.00 for the acquisition
of Pine Hill Homes subdivision for construction of affordable new
homes and amending the 18th Year (FY 1992) CDBG Final Statement of
Community Development Objectives and Projected Use of funds is
hereby approved.
SECTION 4. The expansion of the boundaries of the Woodruff
School CDBG area to include all of Census Tract 14 is hereby
approved.
SECTION 5: The City Manager, on behalf of the City, is
hereby authorized to complete and file the applications with the
U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the grant of
funds so specified.

APPROVAL CONTINGENT UPON SUPPLEMENTAL
CDBG GRANT
The following street and drainage improvement projects are
recommended for implementation, in the order listed,
provided and to the extent that supplemental CDBG grant
funds become available. Approval on the basis of that
contingency implies no commitment or intention with
regard
to normal CDBG entitlements. All are standard street
reconstruction projects unless otherwise described.
All
cost estimates include engineering, contingencies,
construction, and construction supervision costs.
