RESOLUTION NO. 8.869
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH
MOTOROLA COMMUNICATIONS, INC. FOR
MAINTENANCE OF RADIO AND COMMUNICATIONS
EQUIPMENT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL
SERVICES /OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES.

WHEREAS, Resolution 8,49.6 (May 7, 1991) awarded a radio
maintenance contract to Motorola for the balance of 1991 with an
option to extend for one year; and
WHEREAS, the bid specified that the contract could be
renewed for five additional years; and
WHEREAS, this will be the third year of the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend its
contract with Motorola Communications, Inc. for radio and
communications equipment maintenance for a period of one year in
an amount not to exceed $100,000 with an option to approve
future extensions in accordance with the bid specifications.

Manager. Previous resolutions # 8441 and # 8496 have allowed the
contract to date.
