RESOLUTION NO. 8,744
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
REIMBURSE TEXAS EASTERN PRODUCTS PIPELINE
COMPANY (TEPPCO) FOR RELOCATION OF A 20 -INCH
PETROLEUM PRODUCTS PIPELINE CROSSING FOURCHE
CREEK NEAR LINDSEY ROAD.

WHEREAS, a local cooperation agreement with the Corps of
Engineers requires the City of Little Rock to be responsible for
utility relocations; and
WHEREAS, this relocation was necessary to the
construction of channel improvements of the Fourche Creek Project
Phase II; and
WHEREAS, the facilities are existing utility easements and
are reimbursable to the utility company , pursuant to Little Rock,
Ark., Resolution Number 7,487.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
reimburse Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company (TEPPCO)
$750,000 for relocation of a 20 -inch petroleum products pipeline
crossing Fourche Creek near Lindsey Road necessary to the
construction of channel improvements of the Fourche Creek Flood
Reduction Project, Phase II.
SECTION 2: Said funds are available in Account No. 499-
220 -8665 and 499 - 220 -8666.
