A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
REIMBURSE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS
FOR WATER LINE RELOCATIONS AT BARROW PLAZA
AND AT RODNEY PARHAM FOR PHASE IV OF THE
FOURCHE CREEK FLOOD REDUCTION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, a local cooperation agreement with the Corps of
Engineers requires the City of Little Rock to be responsible for
utility relocations; and
WHEREAS, this relocation was necessary to perform
channel excavation in the Rodney Parham Road and Barrow Plaza
vicinity.
WHEREAS, the facilities are existing utility right -of -ways
and are reimbursable, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Resolution
Number 7,487.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
reimburse Little Rock Municipal Water Works $128,799.21 for water
line relocations at Barrow Plaza and at Rodney Parham necessary to
perform channel excavation for Phase IV of the Fourche Creek
Flood Reduction Project.
SECTION 2: Said funds are available in Account No. 499-
220 -8666.
