A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXTEND THE ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH GARVER & GARVER TO COMPLETE THE PLANS
FOR UNIVERSITY AVENUE /CHICOT ROAD EXTENSION,
A 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT.

WHEREAS, Garver & Garver was awarded this engineering
contract pursuant to Little Rock, AR., Resolution No. 8046
(November 3, 1988); and
WHEREAS, this project includes modifications to the
existing intersection configuration at I -30 Frontage Road, Wanda
Lane, and South University Avenue; and
WHEREAS, additional engineering services are required to
incorporate these changes into the project plans and to revise
right -of -way documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to extend
the existing engineering services contract with Garver & Garver
from $214,500 to $256,500 to complete the plans for the University
Avenue /Chicot Road Extension project.
SECTION 2: Funds for this project are available in account
number 301 - 220 -0064.
