RESOLUTION NO. 8,645
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR
UNIFORMS AND CLOTHING FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
FIRE DEPARTMENT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept
bids and award a contract to Farriors in an amount not to exceed
$54,790.80 for the purchase of uniforms and clothing for the
Little Rock Fire Department.

bid submitted by Farriors be accepted. Through an agreement with
the firefighters each fireman is allowed a $180.00 /year clothing
allowance, consequently the total value could exceed $65,000.
The award was based on known purchased quantities in 1991.
